Any member who has officiated a minimum of 5 years and who is in good standing with the LMFRA can become a mentor. The Mentor Program has been created to assist rookies and 1st year officials in developing skills and knowledge of the game. Mentors will be interacting with the new official 1 on 1 and should willingly be listening and assisting with any issues/ questions that the new official has during the program. The mentor will provide a valuable source of information and guidance to a new official. Mentors will have to be open to officiating up to 3 games with the new official and staying in weekly contact with them via email, text or phone call.
If you are an official, with 5+ years experience, and want to become a mentor please fill out the contact information below. The appropriate member will contact you shortly after.
